the hotel was quirky and wonderful, and the staff were pleasant, appreciated the incredibly comfortable location very close to the property's informal restaurant and frankfurt airport, which is 150 km away and pleasant to walk early in the morning. the comfort king room was bright, it included a safe box, tv set, and a fridge.

The breakfast buffet met our expectations. The bathing area is spacious and beautiful.
We had to change the intended room immediately after arrival, because the safe could not be operated even after a repair.

The room was rather simple. A certain backlog of renovation work was evident throughout the house. The sauna area was great.

Huge swimming pool and sauna area, almost for us alone. And this time the room only 20 meters away. Car parking: City centre and spa area of Bad Kissingen. Parking in our own underground car park for 9 EUR per night is expensive but convenient. With our own staff who show and watch over the pitch. Super friendly. On the day of departure you can park for a longer time and go back into town to the concert.
One got lost a couple of times and only on the second day one found the shorter way to the reception and the restaurant. It wasn't signposted.

The single room at Hotel Frankenland was the perfect cozy retreat for a young traveler like me. The comfortable bed and seating area made me feel right at home, while the mini fridge and flat-screen TV provided all the necessary modern comforts. The spacious bathroom was a real treat, offering everything I needed for a pleasant stay in Bad Kissingen.
Personally, I found the separation between the bedroom and living room in the Deluxe category room to be a bit unnecessary. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I can see how others might enjoy the added privacy.

Enough comfortable, enough clean, nice staff, perfect cuisine, perfect location.
Relatively expensive comparing to conditions (the level seems not corresponding to 4 stars hotel). All flyers and printed materials about Hotel are in German only (should be in English as well). Tv set is of old fashion, no programs in English. No Wi-Fi.

The staff was very helpful with parking, locating events, and serving at meals. Our 'platinum' rating (we needed a suite to accommodate our grandson) afforded us (for a fee) a luxury breakfast room. Nice. The dinner buffet was varied and well stocked, and the servers attentive. Walking distance to concerts and shopping. The "tschu tschu" train tour was great, although it was not translated from German, so we saw, but did not learn. We'd not have known of it had not the reception clerk told us--and provided discounted tickets.
In our 3 week tour of Europe,(we stayed in 7 different locations) only at Hotel Frankenland was a fee charged for wireless internet in the room. The hotel's provider seemed to be the same as others use; except that Frankenland chooses to impose fees on the customer. We read in the hotel book that two computers are available near the lobby--and the internet there is free,) but when I couldn't find them and asked at the desk where they were located, I was told there was no free internet. They are in the 'Time Out' center, just up from Reception. I felt that the Booked.net cancellation policy was unnecessarily punitive.
